I love New Year's Eve! As I was growing up in Mauritius it was always a huge night involving a lot of dancing and a large amount of fireworks. I just don't understand when people choose to have a quiet evening and go to bed before midnight!!
Having a 3 year old does limit what you can do unless you can organise a fab babysitter! This year we are having some friends over for a BBQ, while our kids play we will be sipping our champagne/cocktails and bringing in the new year with a bang!
So whether you are going to a family/friends BBQ like me or a more formal soirée there is no excuse not to look stylish on New Year's Eve!
I am really loving the look of mixing sequins with something casual.. Your outfit will still be fun but not be over the top. This works so well for a BBQ!
