My 'must-have' key pieces for this winter are: a grey coat, a classic biker leather jacket, a grey wool fedora and a pair of flat ankle boots.
The Grey coat -
If you have been following me on Instagram you will know that I've been slightly obsessed with finding the perfect grey coat. Guess what, I found it!!! Yesterday I walked into my local Manning Cartel store and there it was on the rack waiting for me!
It is long, made from 50% Virgin wool, and belted - perfection!
I cannot wait for it to get colder I have a feeling it will be on high rotation in my wardrobe this winter; whether it be with jeans and sneakers or with a pencil skirt and heels.
It was on the pricey side but I saw it as a great investment piece that I will be wearing for many years to come. (My justification - Cost per wear!!)
The Classic biker leather jacket -
The biker leather jacket is still very much a key wardrobe staple. Every year I try to find one but have not had any luck. The ones I like are either too pricey or don't fit quite right. I have had my eye on the Jerri Jones classic biker leather jacket for a while. It is amazing - soft leather and fitted in all the right places. It will be hard to take this jacket off me! I can see myself wearing it with just about anything from jeans and t-shirt to a dress on date nights.
The Grey wool fedora -
Next on the list is a wool fedora. I already have a black one and would love to add a grey to my collection. Fedoras are so versatile and comfortable to wear. Did I mention they also keep your head warm in the winter months? The Wool fedoras by Ace of Something are so good and affordable! The main issue will be choosing which style??
The Black ankle boots -
I am yet to find the perfect pair of flat ankle boots. This Chloe pair is pretty close. It is exactly what I want and am looking for; so it's a matter of finding a pair like them or tracking them down. I'll keep you updated on how I go!
Each of these pieces can be coupled with just about anything in my wardrobe. Here's to a stylish winter!
