Trend to try - The Midi Skirt

The Midi skirt is a great staple to have in your wardrobe. It's so versatile and effortless that you can wear it to work or to brunch with the girls on the weekend.
If you are petite or pear-shaped, precede with caution! Opt for a more sleek a-line shape that finishes just below the knee rather than a longer voluminous one and wear it with your highest heels!

The midi skirt can be worn with anything from a crisp buttoned shirt with a oversized coat to a crop top (only if you have a great stomach) with a leather jacket to a fitted t-shirt and sneakers. Remember to balance the volume of the skirt by a close-fitted top.

I chose to wear my midi skirt with a rolled neck knit tucked in with heels. I kept it simple to keep the focus on the floral print but wore my Valentino rockstuds to give my outfit an edge.

You could be bold and clash a printed midi with another print such as stripes or a geometric print but this needs to be done carefully.

The best thing about the midi skirt is that it can be worn trans-seasonally, so i will definitely be wearing mine with boots and tights this winter.
